What’s frustrating is this isn’t just a “right” issue. Leftist material is not exempt. Due in part to the line between sexism & misogyny being fuzzy. Both of which are baked into our (patriarchal) social systems & culture. I can’t unsee it anymore ☹️

And let's WORK for the best. Call the misogynists out. Make non-patriarchy art and fiction and spread it as far as possible. Purge internal and external misogyny from our speech, our actions and our lives. If we're safe to do the work, the work is ours.

YES!!! It’s so frustrating seeing those who “don’t understand why it’s so normalised” stay silent when someone says a rape joke or use phrases like “but he’s always so nice to me”. No! Call them out, be the change, believe the victims and never let “just a joke” slide
