I've really enjoyed these. Watched each multiple times. And I'm not even that big of a horror film fan. I just like watching people talking excitedly about the things they made.

The horror and sci-fi ones are both great fun but yeah, just "round up some people to talk about it". The people involved did a deeper look at Aliens that I'm dying to see but costs $100.

A show I've never met any other fan of - and you can only find sparse info about online - is "Drive-In Reviews." Comedy Central picked up a cheap Chicago show where two guys looked for "quality kills" in horror movies. Immaculately chosen clips. I'm sure the ISOD guys saw it.

Just last weekend I watched a similar documentary, IN SEARCH OF THE LAST ACTION HEROES, which focuses on 80s and early 90s action movies. I wish it was 6 hours long!

Great show. Big fan here of longtime radio legend, Buzz Kilman, and Chicago artist Tony Fitzpatrick. Buzz was a childhood friend of the late Jonathon Demme and has a small part in most if not all of his films. Elevator scene paramedic in Silence of the Lambs.
