Agreed. I still have my (very cheap) subscription and it’s actually still a pretty great paper. The straight news articles are informative and there’s plenty of original reporting. I almost wonder if Bezos is trying to distract from the good reporting with these announcements to trick Trump. Almost.

Especially when it comes to his dick measuring contest with Elon in who can first get to Mars. That requires a lot of Federal money.

Bezos has made WaPo an irrelevant joke. We know that Bezos has turned the opinion pages into a blog, but there's no way to know if him or Lewis have had their hands in any of the news stuff. So there's no reason to trust anything they print, no matter how good the actual journalist might be.
