Overall I'd say the coverage of Trump seeking "retribution" (he said it at CPAC!) and of Project 2025 was very good. It was the hemmed-in "fact check" stuff that relies on public statements that failed. Because he lied!

Hard agree. One pretty common theme in focus groups is that voters want the parties "to work together." Not sure if they really believe that or just think it's nice to say. But I don't think you can run and win on we're going to prosecute them all. But yeah, once in office, put them all in jail.
