The Spectral Realm isn't really hell, though? It's just where the ghosts are from (according to World 3), and early in development it was apparently called the Ghost Planet.
Also Ghostly Adventures has an actual hell equivalent, the Netherworld, so I don't get why you didn't bring that up instead.
I don't think Ghostly Adventures exists in the same canon as Classic Pac-Man. I'm aware of some easter eggs in the show but logistically-speaking, we don't physically see the original Pac-Man and there is no way "Pac" in GA and "Pac-Man" can actually be the same character; their lore would clash.
The closest thing there is, is that Pac has been said to be a descendant of the original Pac-Man, which is fair - but then you see what Pac's parents looked like before the war and that's not the original Pac-Man.
I'll give you this, you are absolutely right about the Netherworld being a closer approximation of hell than the Spectral Realm. I just wasn't really considering Ghostly Adventures in this discussion because I consider it its own beast.
Christianity also existed in Pac-Man's world for a time, but as of 2022 select releases of Pac-Land have edited the church to remove its cross. This implies Pac-Man was once a man of God, but has since lost his faith.
