Starter pack - Gamedevs aged like fine wine.
I've been making games since 1984, professionally since 2000. I made a list of other devs with tons of XP, so I don't feel alone. :-)

Also, I miss Tokyo/Japan. Only been once, but loved every minute of it.
(will add today)
(Also love 80s and 90s horror here.)
(I usually count the professional start date around 2003 but it's fuzzy, I obviously wasn't making a living off it yet...)
(Will add today)
It's a heck of a game. Your music is the icing on the cake.
(Too corny? Probably, yah)
Also, https://work3studio.bsky.social, who I'm pretty sure has dust in his veins at this point. ;) (Said with the greatest affection, Brian!)
Very glad to add you. Sounds like you have a ton of wisdom to share.
Added tot the pack! (Da Pack?)
Also, why so many Scouser industry vets? Something in the water?
(Will add you to the starter pack)
Also: Hallo! Hoe gaat het?
So good to see you here :-)
So many great folks. I can't keep up!
I am OK thanks, finally shipped Starlit (now Bioframe)
Yourself?
Will add!
That said, would love to be on there, I can tell you stories on how recording your work progressively on tapes is the best version control if you need proof :P
Had no idea there were already similar packs out there. I fail at research.
We may well know each other. On a long enough timeline the probability of a games person to have interacted with a contemporary dev = 100%. It's maths!
Yes, lovely here, agreed! And I am going to do my best to contribute to that in a positive way. :-)
Wait, what? It's for gamedev old gits!? :D
Thanks Rudolf - being on any list with you is an honour! Hope you're doing well. x
Hah, honour my old ass!
I am doing OK. Bioframe is out, and it needs waaaaaay more eyes, but at least it's a good game. :-)
Yourself?
Not at the moment. What have you been up to? :-) I
Have you got a personal account? I have tried to avoid company accounts :-)
I say gladly, but this starter pack thing is bugged to heck. I keep losing people I added...
20yrs XP and feeling better than ever 💪
Would love to be considered for this list. Thanks 🙏🙇

Excellent cv!
Yeah, my Mobygames is massively deficient. I should add the missing ones really.
Also, @joannahaslam.bsky.social is at 17 years :)
Key criterion is experience. "veteran in the campaign of making nice gamey things"
Happy to add you if that fits you. (Looks like it does to me)
THREE!!!
3!!!
Born in 1980, created our studio in 2007, and hopefully aging more like "Saint-Émilion" than "Villageoise" (a terrible brand of French wine).
Glad to add you!
It's not about fame but about experience. If you feel you're a veteran with lots of XP than I'll add you. 15 years is nothing to sniff at.
And the reality of the mobile industry is truly heartbreaking when most of your hard work gets obliterated because games get cancelled.
Very glad to have you aboard. :-)
pivoted to marketing three years back and while I love it, it has left me with a gamedev identity crisis
Wahooo! Been ages. I'll add you that starter pack if you like?
great to see you on here Rudolf!
One day we will meet non-virtual again, maybe.
What you up to these days? (Sorry, been stuck in bunker for long time)
on to a new project now, TBA but it's back to 2D and pixels, has been great so far, should be a fun one
would love to cross paths someday somewhere!
here's me in nutshell

Kids are a trio, right? My younglings have entered the double digits age now.
*Shows ID*
Do you feel like you are a veteran? Been around, made loooots of game/games-related things or at least for a very long time?
Downside of this list stuff is figuring out criteria, hah. So far I've mostly gone for 15 years or more, plus many titles.
I feel like a veteran.
I'm about 16/17+ years as an environment artist & VFX artist, 9 of those were as a freelancer AND I put out a indie game of my own a couple years back with a new one out next year too.
Also, I have this handy graphic:
Appreciate it
First commercial game at bullfrog in I guess 1994 Theme Park Amiga. Then Syndicate/Syndicate Wars.
then MuckyFoot ,Visual Science ,Rockstar North ,Pandemic ,Krome ,THQ ,Sega.
Now 10 years at five lives studios making cozy caravan.
Ah the Vic 20... I still use "VIC" as a high score name on old arcades cabinets.
Would love to be added if there's still some room left 👍

I wasn't pro in the 80s. In 84 I abused the maths teacher's computer programming lessons to make "Nuke the Mouse in the House" in Pascal. I was told off for it, but then it became a mini hit with other students.
It's "only" 15 years old, but I am humbled by all the love that Eufloria still receives.
Similar with my text book on Level Design.
This is absolutely minor stuff, but we were the first kids to make games in our town and it planted the seed. :-)
That is a frightening amount of hard-earned experience in one place!
Added a bunch of LOVELY folks and some certified legends.
Also: If you reached out for inclusion and I agreed to do so, but you are not in the pack: poke me please. Likely I messed up somehow and can try again. :-)
Will go through them 1 by 1 today and everybody who is grizzled and ripened and had trench foot at some point.
Been adding people to this list all day, with the "edit list" button. However, it seems that often the person I add is NOT ADDED.
Can somebody explain in simple terms how I can EASILY add people to a starter pack without issues?
Now I have to check everybody I promised to add.
BTW, I noticed earlier today that people I followed weren't getting added. Maybe the servers were overloaded? Sometimes when I checked back later, the follow had actually worked.
Yeah, I think there is a lag issue, where new adds don't always show...
Game design is system design. Even if you know exactly what you're doing, try to capture your game systems in a flowchart.
Outcomes:
A: Proof it makes sense. (Good! + Can be shared)
B: Show issues. (Good! Go fix)
C: Inspire new ideas. (Great! Improved design!)
Oh and @rudolfkremers.bsky.social sir, wouldn't mind having myself added as well...made my first game in 1992, last one was released uh...today? 😂
(Adding to pack)
I hope everything is good with you? Haven't really spoken with you or Allister in forever!
And maybe "amusing" anecdotes from waaaaaay back.
I might try that later.
(Added you to the pack)
You sound suitably crusty
(Ok, sorry, terrible joke.)
YES! Of course!
Adding you forthwith. Thanks!
But lots of XP which is what matters.
Add thee I will!

Adding this morning
Don't actually remember what I first worked on hardwarw wise, but it was in Pascal, lol.
(Added)
You have two bsky accounts btw!
My first programming language was applesoft basic, but pascal was my first proper language that they taught us in 9th grade :)
Thanks for your interest. Can you share a bit about your gamedev journey? :-)
We’re currently working on an undisclosed mmo-lite project for about 5 years now with an expected release date of Q1 2026.
