I’ve always taken the train. It’s a little slower city to city but it’s also a bit cheaper if you buy the ticket at the right time, more elbow room, no security theatre, and the train stations are basically attached to the respective rinks so you don’t gotta travel out to travel in

I am! The Dmax raids are alright, the Gmax ones are ridiculous. Out of touch with the player base, there aren’t enough people playing to sustain them organically outside of downtown centres in big cities

I agree! The regular dmax raids are easy enough to do solo but the gmax ones are ridiculous. I know there were meetups through campfire but it was all downtown and not very accessible if you lived outside the city

I would love one in Halifax (for personal reasons) but just having a team on each coast of the country would be super cool.

Sentimentally it would be hilarious to see one in Northern Ontario (family is from Timmins), though it obviously wouldn’t hold financially

Think QC or TOR2 are still the ideal options if it happens again though. HFX/SJ would be really fun too but again, unlikely to sustain itself

I don't hold any illusions of a team in Halifax in my lifetime, but sentimentally I think it would be great.

In a lot of ways, we are sport starved out here. We have the Mooseheads, and they're great, but I would kill to get NHL hockey nearby. It's a region that is often overlooked in general.

Think Stolarz is the 1 until he isn’t, he’s been better than Woll and has less concern about durability, though neither has proven they can play a full season as a starter. Anything can change in a hurry here

I’d have to take a look at who might be available but off the top of my head, one that someone I know suggested a couple years and would still be sensible is Jake Evans. I’d be leaning more 3C than 2C for a target obviously, I still believe JT has the juice

I can’t go into too much detail given my role but I think it’ll be significant, levels will have to fundamentally reapproach their purpose, and the shifts will start before the end of the season. There are ways to make it a positive with the right forward thinking and proactivity
