Hyperoculia is a condition where stem cells in the eyes reactivate, producing a series of smaller "false eyes" inside the vitreous body.
The pseudocular structures accumulate over time, leading to blindness. Eventually, the pressure they create can be enough to burst through the iris and cornea.
