If a post has no likes or has too few likes, it will not appear in those feeds for people.
So giving likes actually does help out, even if it isn't a big help.
I am not sure why you assumed something I never said to be argumentative with me.
I was just trying to support your post by adding additional information.
I never assumed you said those things, so do not shove your assumptions on me either.
