Canadians aren't Afghanistan or Vietnam and it's ... Very something that they think their nation could resist total destruction by the us, or that their comfortable Western population would fight. They're not Vietnam, they're already Vichy France.

Very worried Canadian here. EU's safety is linked to Ukraine. Turkey involved too.

But Canada is quite alone. Canadians are not going to want to engage in epic guerilla winter warfare. If USA takes us we'll fight back from inside. We will fight on some dimension.

Canada is definitely not Afghanistan or Vietnam, they're right. We don't share the world's largest land border with them, nor were they our largest exports destination. Nor did they supply millions of Americans with oil and power.
