Thank you, Susan. The same is true with me. No Bio, no posts, no DMs, will be ignored, and I still receive DMs, "Hello, how are you dear." They're just disrespectful.

These are good guidelines. I had a bad experience right off the bat with DMs from an aggressive scammer, but that aside BlueSky has been a great source of news and insights from good folks. I am grateful for it.

Thank you for the follow back! Fun fact: I went to a wedding in Fish Creek, WI, summer home of the bride (they met in my son’s college but I only knew the groom’s family). Her father connected attorneys at his law firm in Chicago with interns. One intern married his attorney. Barack & Michelle.

I was on Twitter (Furyu_me + 2 other accounts) since 2008. It was great until muskrat took it over. Quickly turned to crap.

BlueSky feels similar to early Twitter.

I know. I check every profile. Some are obviously fake or obviously scammers. The guys with their photos prominently displayed in every post (all five. lol). Then they DM. 💙💙
