The thing about New England becoming a country is that the population and economies of the states have been so entwined for almost 400 years since European colonization that it would be relatively seamless. The New England states are already a political and cultural entity.
Not to be insensitive, but the thing is that the European colonization of the New England states happened centuries ago and has led to very strong cultural and economic ties between them. People in states like NM and CO may need to consider leaving them to the Trump Empire and emigrating.
You’re not wrong, but CO is the only state that became bluer in the last election, and Coloradans are very distrustful of outsiders. My money’s on CO becoming an independent stronghold with an economy based on barter, and everyone taking at least 1 shift per year at the dispensaries or ski runs 😉
I get and mostly agree with the idea that the intent is to break apart the US and thereby give Russia (a shithole nation-state as a result of the corruption) a boost in relative power against the remains. The thing is that a Republic of California (without OR and WA) still would have twice its GDP.
No! And you know why. This state is too corrupt. It wouldn't pass the corruption mitigation test in my theoretical Republic Of Atlantica. New York and New Jersey have Illinois and Louisiana levels of corruption.
Canada will stay together but you folks and folks from Washington and California might want in too. But leave your guns with the maga states. We don’t have mass shootings here.
Oregon, Washington, and California! Well, western Oregon… those rural eastern Oregonians are already talking about joining with Idaho to secede 🤷🏻♀️ those of us in Western OR would rather not! LOL
We will have to do some residential transfers between those in the East who want to go with us and those in the West who want to remain in the U.S.

Greenland is a territory of Denmark and they like it that way. New England, NY, NJ, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Illinois, Minnesota, Washington, Oregon, California, New Mexico, Colorado. We are not contingent though but I do think it might have to be uttered.
