I confess I don't find him relatable at all (more like a sociopath who no longer sees any benefit to wearing his mask) but totally agree about his use of "folksy" speech patterns. But he's quite deliberate, I think, about how he does it, i.e. "Liz Cheney and her daddy...."
Exactly. He's been getting pushback from rank-and-file liberals for being so unfiltered, lately, which is silly because he's basically become a goldmine for anyone who wants to understand exactly how the most important architect of the Democratic Party's modern iteration sees the world.
