if baked/grilled chicken breasts are one of my only safe foods, is it possible that roasting the chicken instead of baking/grilling it could be causing my current flare? i’m so confused because i didn’t think i was even testing anything

Question: What do you mean by "roast" vs "bake"? To me, baking chicken breasts means cooking them in the oven, on a baking sheet. I would only say "roasting" if I was cooking a whole bird in the oven.
baking/grilling as in just a boneless breast for 20 minutes or whatever. roasting as in bone-on breast (along with other pieces i didn’t eat) for 2 hours
Ah, interesting. So there are maybe 2 (or more) factors at play - the addition of substances like melted collagen which wouldn't be in a boneless breast, & the longer cooking time itself.
(I don't have an answer, sadly, so I repeat my lament: Gee, isn't MCAS fun.)
Oh man that’s a bummer. I would say—if you can taste any difference to the cooking method, your immune system may notice too. UGH that’s infuriating! (I deeply relate because chicken breast is one of my only safe foods too, it would be very frustrating if even that posed an issue.)
