I think Trump misjudged the effect an attack on Canada would have on it's population's nationalism. it seems like Canadians are prepared to economically suffer to not be taken advantage of. I don't think middle America is as prepared to have their standard of living decrease as much as Canadians are - ThreadSky

The biggest impact would be the auto sector since America uses us for cheaper labour. Who gives a fuck though, cars are bullshit and the auto industry deserves to die. People need to stop buying junk like F150s and use their existing cars until it literally does not start anymore.

As a Canadian I will make many sacrifices in order to resist. Our government did not ask us to boycott American products, or companies or vacations until the grass roots movement to do so was already in place. Many of us have the mentality if can’t find a non US choice then we will do without.
