It can be a struggle to get them to cohabitate peacefully if they weren't raised together. Thank you for making that effort and being patient with them.
Meow Meow on the left. A fantastic mom(working on getting her spayed) and Muggy on the right(spayed because the world doesn’t need more of little demon brats like her).
Ours sleep for hours in the same bed, laying against each other, have a love fest, bathing each other, then they (almost every day, often multiple times) go to war with massive bites tackles and hissing, and then 10 minutes later they are back in bed together, and the cycle repeats. Cats...
Good luck. My girls throw paws every time they get within a foot of each other. Dead silence then suddenly you’re in a pit of vipers. Hsss! Hsss!! (Soft thuds)
oh they’re very much not. they don’t particularly like one another, which is why them both sitting in such close proximity with no hissing was photo worthy
We lost our very first cat, a torti, to a stroke at 16 too. She had never been sick a day in her life until that fateful day.
She imprinted on us so much we eventually adopted two more torti’s to fill the huge void she left.
