the lumpen are mad at the capitalists, the lumpen are mad at the leaders within their organizations, and their material conditions of life are poor. if we can provide them a better life in the red army and the ideology to resist their class enemies, they will become strong allies of the proletariat.

it should not go unstated as well that the BPP organized highly effectively amoung the lumpen. i also believe that leadership in the party should also be constructed from people with a proletarian background, a student background and a lumpen background.

the struggle within the party between folks of these different backgrounds will give the party a vital life, as these ideas from these different backgrounds, these different ways of seeing the world, create a deep synthesis of the ideology of the oppressed classes.
