If last week were a view into what a Shane Gillis variety show would look like, this weeks show is a “SNL in the 21st century” in a single show. Everyone brought everything. Felt classic.
My favorite episode of the season so far! You can actually tell the cast was having fun! Maybe it’s just my age as a millennial who grew up listening to Lady Gaga since I was a tween, but her new music is great & she is the only MG who deserves to have an elaborate set performance on SNL.
Hello my SNL Nerd brothers from other mothers!!
Wow this was a total 180 from last week's "bowl of bland". The wigs, the makeup, the costumes! Loved all the risky writing an messing with camera angles. Every member of the cast an crew just poured it all out on the stage!
ello nerdy ones! As usual this is co-host Deej, and I'm happy to say that I can now erase last week's episode from my brain. While this was unfortunately light on Longfellow, it does prove a consummate entertainer Lady Gaga is.
As a maple syrup guzzling, poutine munching Canadian, I adored the Canadian jokes in update. The big highlight for me though was the mascara commercial. And is it just me or do Longfellow and Wickline looks like they could be siblings?
This entire show had a 10 to 1 feel to it. Friendlys shouldve been SOTN but the ending had technical issues that ruined it. Gaga's 2nd song was great, loved the backstage setup. 3 biggest laughs came in Update..1) Jost's Dick Van Dyke joke, 2).Che's Honey Smacks and 3) Mikey joke about wife pay.
