Great episode. Survivor of pertussis luckily as a teen. But lung damage and no meds so traumatic. Daughter of a Christian scientist mother so no vaccinations..... no medical intervention till I left home.

Ugh, I am so sorry! I am glad you are alive but I have seen permanent damage in young children from vaccine preventable illnesses and it is a lifetime of issues. Your voice is so important--hope you continue to speak up!

I do. You trust your parents. My father apologized after my mother passed for a premarital agreement that any children be raised in her religion. He was not religious and went to doctors when I was a child.
