Many of the federal agencies and even local law enforcement agencies that are common on Twitter are not here, and I fear it is because of partisanship, something that is only going to be magnified come January 20th.
Of course it will last a lot of senators and congressmen have switched from Twitter to blue sky. People from MSNBC left X and switched to blue sky the same with CNN and a couple other stations.
I was already suspended 2 times. I didn't come close to violating any tos and wasn't overtly rude to anyone I'm a bit more combative on twitter (still pretty tame) but I'm here to be more civil and still got suspended. If it happens again they said I will be banned. They said I was being "spammy"
this subjective limitation on speech is bad. it's exactly what amd 1 was supposed to prevent. what's the threat if you are allowed to say whatever you want?
I don't particularly care whether BS survives. Leftists who see BS as the alternative to X may be willing to put some money into this platform. That might help it survive for a while. I'm still spending most of my time on X because I support Elon Musk.
Time will tell. I never chase social media platforms. Right know it's good. Never bothered with Threads, TikTok, etc. Did Mastodon for a hot sec YEARS ago.
Appreciate the Mastodon comment; same for me. I struggled to find posts to engage with there. Bluesky feels like that other app (that I deleted in Oct. ‘22).

Both. It will take work. We need to interact more so that we’re thinking together and forming communities. You’re doing it right and should attract VW camper enthusiasts. Lately I’ve seen them going electric.

Go where you can make a difference I say.
Enjoy the ride.
