No, seriously, they only hate it because they know hating it will upset the sort of people they are in the business of upsetting. They'd hate lemonade if it would get them clicks.
I have never proposed that. My career, books and articles and more, is dedicated to the opposite. But that doesn’t mean you don’t pay attention to their tactics and engage on your terms, not theirs.
Yep. I said the same thing when he shared that random video of someone grilling during the whole Springfield thing. He knew people would share it all over the place to mock it, which only helped the idea spread. We have to stop taking the bait.
Being Autistic w/an Autistic kid, I don’t think they’re trolling. Mainstreaming and inclusion of disabled kids *is* ‘woke’ to them. I’ve heard it a lot over the years.
It’s true they see it as “woke” and don’t like it. But it’s not a big deal to them & they wouldn’t be talking about it—both are savvy media strategists—if they didn’t know it was perfectly poised to get this reaction.
I don’t disagree overall but, doing things to get a rise out of people and trial balloons tend to work the same way much of the time, right? I’m sure they love ‘happy accidents’. I do realize if Rufo intends to pursue it, he’ll just state it publicly as per usual.

Then what did you mean by "don't take their nasty bait"?
