To Kevyn Adams defense, when asked about the team players would least like to play for, New York’s taxes came up when mentioning the Sabres in The Athletic players poll. Lack of palm trees is curiously missing in the comments. 🌴🌴🌴

Taxes is a red herring. Doesn't bother Canadian teams, California teams, NYC/NJ teams, etc. Outside of Vegas, Dallas, TB/FLA, Nashville pretty sure everyone has taxes. Also, Buffalo has the second lowest taxes in the state, so move on. It's cause the front office is dysfunctional and the team sucks.
I am just saying what the players comments were in the article. But you are kind of proving the point, because besides Nashville, who were supposed to be good, you named the best teams in the league. So maybe tax matter.
The Jets were voted the least wanted team to play for, and by a large margin. And the Kings have palm trees for the win. But most of these teams were built through the draft, no one willing goes to Edmonton, Ottawa or NJ.
