Every game I've tried to launch so far has worked: Cookie Clicker, Democracy 2, Dicey Dungeons, Mini Metro, Surgeon Simulator. Proton got _really good_ y'all.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth's build crashes immediately on launch (despite Steam Runtime), but running the Windows version via Proton is of course working flawlessly
Proton is actually so good that for a lot of games I prefer using the Windows version with Proton rather than the official Linux release. Examples: Warhammer Total War 3 and Civ 5 and 6.
Proton is great, in two years of using a Steam Deck as a primary game console I haven't seen a single game that didn't work (disclaimer: I'm not playing multiplayer games).
