That's only suitable when what he is saying is totally preposterous. Certain things such as #genocide should be nipped in the bud immediately. I'd much rather our politicians did not ignore that. They need a backbone

"They must be allowed home. They must be allowed to rebuild, and we should be with them in that rebuild, on the way to a two state solution."
How to address that practically will need to be built on international cooperation, if Trump is serious about this plan.

Yes, he should have done, but we need to look forward.
If we could stand with the EU on this it would be good. If the EU stood with China, then Trump might actually blink.
I still suspect this is a bluff from Trump to leverage better deals from his allies in the Middle East. It's the way he works.

Yes Trumps all bluster and not much brain. Just use big words and hes lost. Canada dealt with him superbly with the tarrif threats. Just restated the already proposed agreement and the eejit claimed he won. UK can't be ineffectual Just now or we are next for all this. Already scarily close

He needs to be tackled, but it can only be done from a position of power. No country can individually stand against him except maybe China. Countries could stand against him ins solidarity, maybe the EU will make a stand.

As an American living in the UK, thanks for the first piece I have seen this year calling for courage in the face of Trump fascism. Growing up watching films like "The Battle of Britain," I've been expecting Churchillian speeches against this gang of thugs, not timid pieces urging appeasement.
