Who’d be a happy young person in a world like that?
I suspect not (or nothing close to the levels in the UK).
Perhaps in other countries they aren’t allowed to use depression or anxiety as an excuse for not working?
As someone who grew up encouraged to study languages and now forced to endure ongoing Brexit, I’m quite frankly not surprised.
I’m depressed about it.
I expect young people are too.
So I set up @savefom.bsky.social to try to do something about it.
