Make teachers in primary schools have always been a minority. But the constant denigration of the teaching profession over decades by successive governments, coupled with ever-increasing paperwork, must take much of the responsibility for this current state of affairs

Why do children need role models to be the same gender as them? I admired teachers for their teaching, not because thee the same or opposite gender.

Are SLT predominantly male or female btw?
