This is the exact system i subscribe to as a Leader. You are a grown adult, Stop asking for permission. As a company @skeiya.bsky.social , so long as your work and deliverables are not affected, you can work in the middle of Utopia for all we care.

Yes! I worked at a company like that for almost 20 years. I left when the owners sold. Big money came in and wanted to treat us like children. Nah. I'm out! You don't pay me to babysit me.
Even Children shouldn't be subjected to Micro Management. This ask the teacher for permission to do anything, like go to the toilet, created a system of slaves and not free thinkers.
Why would the teacher not know, if the child went to the wash room, but didn't return, that should be a red flag. Or the child didn't come to school, during the roll call, they would have noticed and asked the parents.
I'm speaking in regards to kids asking to go to the bathroom and what-not. I don't believe they should have to ask to go to the bathroom, but they should let the teacher know where they're going.
Asked permission to go to the bathroom, nor would I, at school, you NEED to at least let the teacher know where you're going so if anything happens, i.e. school shooter, or you pass out on your way to the bathroom or whatever, they know where to look for the you first. It's a safety thing.
Not exactly, some order is needed, and some jobs you can't just take off, 1)most jobs you know your schedule, when you took the job you agreed to adhere to your schedule, so if you need to schedule a dr. App. Then, unless you're sick, schedule that appt around your job.
I get that you can't take off without saying something, however, I will quit with the quickness if your company is into adult babysitting. I'm here to WORK. If you have to watch me like a hawk then you don't trust me so I have to ask, WHY are you paying me?
Post. They didn't like that much and reversed that decision the following Monday and said for me to use discretion and try not to use o.t. 🤣😂🤣 don't micromanage me, I'll make ya regret it.
At the amount of overtime I was ha ending out at an exorbitant rate and said all o.t. was to be approved through the ops manager. That lasted 1 weekend. That weekend we had 10 call outs and no shows. I called the ops manager after every single call saying no one was on post. LOL
You'll get no argument outta me when it comes to micromanagement. I can't, and refuse, to be micromanaged. It makes me rage. So if im in a job that's not gonna lemme do my job, I maliciously comply until they either give in or I find a new job. I was a supervisor at a security company, they got mad
