Curiosity and education, mostly. It's good to know what's out there grabbing people and this is one I've put off for a while (for reasons) but feel I should experience it at some point.

It looks like they have "free flight" events that don't cost, so, maybe I'll wait for those to come around instead.

Definitely wait for the free fly... doesn't hurt or cost you a thing. There might be a free fly later this month or maybe as late as May. They are rarely announced more than a week or two in advance.

You'll need a vehicle WITH a game package which are marked as "PACK" in the store. Here is a link to the store filtered with PACKs only sorted by price:

There are free-fly events throughout the year that let you play for free. Might be worth waiting for.

The account is free... but you need a vehicle and game package to play. So, either wait for the free fly events or buy a "pack" from the store.

I made an account in 2013 apparently (lol) but never bothered playing or thought about it until now.
