I just finished your book. It is so fullnof love. As a highschool English teacher in the Netherlands I want my students to know about American book bans and encourage them to read the banned books. Your book is now added to my class library of banned books. Thank you for sharing your story.
I haven't read it yet, but is this the book that Senator Foghorn Leghorn read an explicit excerpt from in a hearing? Damn, it's a must read if it's looked down upon by the GOP. Just added it on my Kindle. It's a free country, for now. How dare they!

I'm sorry any and all black people were denied the ability to read and write. I'm pissed off that book banning is still alive today. Good luck in the future that your books become best sellers.
I adore your book! My district in Colorado denied permission for our 10th grade team to teach excerpts from it in 2022. But that "no" inspired us to fight back & create a Multicultural Lit class. We'll keep trying to forge a path to an education system where we can teach All Boys Aren't Blue 💙
