Scholz didn't want any German 'Alleingänge' and now after Biden's decision with ATACAMS and the French + British long range missiles approval, he is doing exactly that! The man is a liability.

Good, but please change "Scholz" with "Germany" until actions prove otherwise. The problem is much deeper than one person, same as why it is Russian's war and not Putin's

If CDU forms a new govt that takes decisive steps in strengthening European security, we will then be talking about Germany's success and high moral standards and it would be true. If it fails, it will not be Merz' failure only.

In general I agree but this was a specific line used by Scholz - and his chancellery has been driving policy and (bad) strategy since 2021

as said, you are right on Scholz and most people are aware what a disaster he is even before being Kanzler. But there are many signs that he is not alone in this, look at the policy of CDU of Merkel, the Greens continuing to send strings words not actions, German companies exports to Tajikistan:)
