i super-hard agree on this. just because he got/is still getting away with it, doesn't mean it hasn't been/isn't painfully, obviously true: trump has been in the bag for putin from the jump, and we probably don't even know the fucking half of it.

people who brushed off putin/trump ties as just an excuse for clinton losing were always kidding themselves. as someone grown up during the previous, more normal political epoch, i thought in early 2017 that trump firing comey would lead quickly to his removal from office. it was pretty cut and dry.

I've said it many times, they were extremely cringe and had no real overarching political vision or program but #resistance wine moms from, like 2018 had the clearest view of things of any political faction of the last decade at least. The MSNBS watching uncles were right all along, it sucks.
