-Speaking of Anya, easily my fav character which surprised me. They did her dirty in s7 but I really loved her slow build up to being part of the Scoobies and fucking cheered when they added her to the opening credits
-I saw a lot of criticism of Dawn online but I thought she was fine.

I was hoping they'd do more with her especially in s7 but s7 in general kind of sucked
-Favourite seasons are 2, 3 and 5 (that seems to be the popular opinion) and I have a hard time choosing between which I like the most; I feel like 3 wins out just by attrition.

1 is great given how little they had to work with but the show improves so much instantly on s2; I don't get anyone who says to skip it. I actually enjoyed s6 a lot more than I expected given its reputation but I guess being able to binge watch makes it more tolerable.

To me, something taking big creative swings (and not always succeeding) is better than being boring, and that's why I enjoyed s6 a lot (even if I hated parts of it like Dead Things, Seeing Red and almost all of Spuffy once it gets physical because it became gross).

S7 almost bored me to tears. I feel like it starts and ends strong (I fucking hate Empty Places though) but the middle part after Showtime feels like it sags so much basically until Faith returns from her stint on Angel. S7 is like s4 in that the main story sucks, but it also

doesn't have the amazing stand alone episodes. Also I can imagine the Initiative sets costing a lot of money to build, while most of s7 just takes place in Buffy's house so it made me wonder the whole time where the budget went. Feel like if they showed more of the First Evil making things go crazy
