People who are able to resist the ubiquitous and overwhelming social pressure to identify as their AGAB are also more likely to be able to resist the ubiquitous and overwhelming social pressure to love capitalism. It's simply a factor of conformity or the lack thereof.
You might as well ask "why do so many artists have weird eclectic tastes?" Well, if you get told your whole life "you shouldn't be an artist, you'll starve, that's not a Real Job" and you decide to go for it anyways, you're more likely to pursue whatever you want and not what society wants for you.

It's especially odd since communist counties have absolutely awful human rights records when it comes to LGBTQ people.
Humans have an unfortunate tendency towards reactionary thinking. It's only natural that some people would leap from "capitalist America mistreats trans people" straight to "...and therefore communism would be better for trans people". Kneejerkism is very human.
