Anyone of a Midlands persuasion care to settle a culinary debate? Is having a Staffordshire Oatcake (pictured) with sweet toppings a crime against humanity?

BTW, I’m not from the Midlands, but I lived there for a while. I’m sad that they aren’t as ubiquitous as Eccles cakes, Bakewell tart, or Yorkshire puddings!
I had one the other day. We can’t buy them in supermarkets here in Norwich so I bought some online, as well as a mix. I got the mix wrong and decided it could only be salvaged with sugar. For something that felt so wrong it tasted pretty good!
