But what has that to do with religion? This is just people doing good. Perhaps they do it because they are religious but people do good for many reasons.
Yes, some people do good "because Deity". But for every person who loves and feeds someone else "because Deity" there are maybe 100 or a 1000 that hates because of the same Deity.
And the people feeding people would feed others regardless.

Show me one thing that has a net positive because of religion and not a net negative and I will reconsider.
But on a serious note, yes, many religious people do good. Some probably because they are religious.
But they are outnumbered.
