After reading recaps of last night…I can say with confidence that we are in a shit ton of trouble. Our reps aren’t coming to save us. Folks, it’s on us to make it through this as a community. Ain’t no other way.

Been attending new community groups to expand my circle and twice as many people than expected are showing up. Yes, people are the way but my Trump supporting relatives will just eat that speech up. Gave up on earnest fact-telling with them. Facts are ignored.

Yes. Pressure our elected officials to do their job because it's on them more than it's on us. And it's on our military more than it's on us. Trump and his people are breaking laws and trampling all over our constitution. They swore an oath to defend the Constitution.
Our military swore an oath to defend the Constitution above ALL else. Above a president, above a general, above ALL else, our military answers to the Constitution.

It's why I'm looking for mutual aids and community groups to support....which makes me angry because a lot of groups needed some government funding to help
There’s an incredible organization in Mobile, AL, (of all places!), Dwell Mobile. They help support resettled refugees & other displaced individuals, but are waiting to see if their federal funds will be slashed. They cannot operate on local donations alone. https://dwellmobile.org
