Which major problem do you think needs to be addressed first: banning Congressional stock trading, making conflicts of interest laws apply to the president or putting in an enforceable ethics code for Supreme Court justices?

How about make all laws applicable to citizens apply to everyone, including Congress, President & executive branch, and Supreme Court.
The U.S. Constitution applies to everyone or else it applies to no one.
All of the above (and MANY more) but let’s start with the SCOTUS peeps. The danger the right wing justices pose has been clearly demonstrated and they won’t stop any time soon.
Taking money out of politics would be a good start. Make the politicians get back in the trenches to get out the vote instead of sitting back and letting the highest bidder win
1 and 3 are top priorities to me and if I had a magic ability to influence a message, the Democrats who are exceptionally gifted communicators would take these two problems and hammer away with pithy talking points, imitate how they do it but for good
They all would make a big difference, but I question after watching the flaccid response to a former President flouting laws, how much would come of making conflict of interest laws apply to a president. If we haven't the stomach to enforce things then it makes no difference so I'd pick the others
I like all of them, but can we force Congress to take a “remove the insurrection disability “ vote ASAP? MAGAts need 2/3 majority to inaugurate the insurrection felon.
Stock trading and a criminal investigation needs to be opened against Lenard Leo, the Federalist Society several Extreme Court Justices.
Bribery of the judiciary is illegal, period.
1)Supreme Court
2)Conflict of Interest
3)stocks

5)making mandatory verification on all social media,

6}absolute limits on campaign donations
7)No PACS without clarity
Who exactly is going to address the problem? Because the biggest offenders are going to be running the country, passing the laws, and covering their asses.
Restoring the plain and unambiguous meaning of Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, and then ruthlessly enforcing it against the traitorous rethuglican cult that has infiltrated and destroyed the Republican Party. Dozens if not a hundred congresspeople need to go in addition to Drumpf.
Ethics code. We need to expose who opposes a SCOTUS code, and why. There are no valid reasons to oppose, only corrupt ones. That will smoke out the bad guys, then we can work on the other stuff.
If forced to pick one, the ethics code for SCOTUS justices would probably be first, but enforceability is key. Limiting their service to a term of 21 years, with three justices every 7 years up for replacement, would also help a lot.
Conflicts of interest, especially with the new DOGE, president and cabinet members! Disclosures of business interests. New administration needs to Divest from ALL current companies!
I vote for none of the above. They’re all very important but my vote would be for campaign finance reform. Oligarchs should not be able to buy our country for their plaything!😖
they are all important, but if I had to choose just one, it would be enforceable rules for the SC. The other can face media notice and face political damage and loss of power. Our six lords a ruling don't and have shown no interest in self policing.
If we had reps representing US, not a political party focused on getting or maintaining control of power, they’d have passed those laws decades ago. Those reps would have removed all instances of conflict (lobbyists $, campaign $, etc.) from our representative democracy. 1/
Supreme Court ethics like quarterly financial reports, yearly impartiality reviews, must pass ABA standards to get and keep a seat, term limits, ending outside profit for speaking engagements
I think the conflicts of interest s/b first and used to knock-out the conflicting stock purchases and also knock-out the SC and its conflicting interests, money it otherwise.
I kinda wish they could all happen at the same time, but if not:
1) enforceable ethics code for Supreme Court
2) conflict of interest laws applying to President
3) banning congressional stock trading

Getting 45 to heel isn't happening, and he's gonna block anyone from messing with his stay-outta-jail card (the SC)
But people making money when he can't? He won't stand for that.

And reversing the whole “can’t convict a POTUS”
Bs thing!
The people who make standards for others should be held to the highest standards!!!!
1st. Putting in an enforceable ethics code for Supreme Court justice
2nd. Making conflicts of interest laws apply to the president
3rd. Ban Congressional stock trading
Of the other three, SCOTUS reform (ethics, prosecutions, expand the court, term limits) needs to come first.
Otherwise, the corrupt SCOTUS will throw out any laws, prosecutions, & parts of the Constitution they’re paid to dismantle.
There are no laws when SCOTUS is lawless.
In the corporations I worked for -- these fall under ethics, risk & compliance
We didn't have the luxury of choosing one. We had programs for all.
Trump isn’t going to abide by conflicts of interest laws, so let that go.
Forcing SC to give up their perks, Thomas and Alito might retire, giving Trump 2 younger extremists for the court.
Pick your battles. Congressional stock trades has the best chance.
We must fix it.
