36 exposures is exhausting. I have zero recollection of what is on the first half of my current roll of 35mm. Iβm too impatient; I like to use a roll in one go. π Do you prefer 35mm or medium format?

I generally use a 35mm roll in one go. I'll just keep shooting until it's gone. Keep looking and finding angles until there's none left.
More likely, I'll finish the roll and wish I'd brought another one. Whoever I'm with will be grateful I didn't. π
Haha - I guess my problem is never having gotten as comfortable shooting with my MF as compared to shooting with my 35. I totally understand the ritualistic aspect!
That is so true! Admittedly, I shoot mostly these days with my Olympus dslr for that very reason - so much easier for long trips as well. I keep telling myself I need to break out my film cameras!

For medium format, I always take a second roll before 12 isn't enough. π
I'm more thoughtful and frugal when I shoot medium format.
