A recent re-read, Franny and Zooey. A short but not necessarily quick read, I found it rewards a bit of time spent with it. Not sure I found this, or appreciated this, when I first read it.

One of those books where, upon finishing, wanted to go and listen to the Backlisted episode… of course, there isn’t one! These two stories were originally published separately I think, but they seem today so fitting together as basically a novel.
They did talk about Salinger on a couple of Locklisted episodes though, 17th July 2020 and the Teenage books episode on 22nd August 2020 too. I think I remember quite a long discussion in one of them
