PBS, these people are specialized professionals. They're community members and homeowners. Many are caregivers for children or aging parents... They are taxpayers & consumers.. These workers are part of the circular flow of our mixed economy. When they lose their job, communities lose.

By “impacted by cost cutting measures” I think you mean “illegally terminated without cause for a smoke and mirrors exercise to reduce the impact to the deficit when giving American billionaires a tax break.”
