Looks like a good place for some quick attach shoe grips if having studded bike tires doesn’t make sense for your part of the country. Better to have a short hike a bike then a crash. Glad to hear no damage.

I was wearing my boot spikes. I almost fell again trying to stand up after my fall. Just trying to stay upright during my crossing guard shift was a challenge.

Yeah, I take this alley twice a day and even though I know the trouble spots, I’ve never seen it this bad. It didn’t look all that dicey, which made me a bit too confident.
