We have only started the plan and researching but thought somewhere near Gander because that's where the fault line is. And then anything else that is "must see".

I’m an American who has visited Toronto, Montreal & Quebec. Beautiful cities. My son loves hiking in Banff & Jasper. Absolutely loved the Canadian Rockies.

As an American, I’m not flying anywhere & refuse to visit a red state.

One tip I’d recommend for NL is book the rental car first (if you’re not driving yourselves that is!) Flights shouldn’t be an issue but from May 24 - Labour Day there is a lot of demand for rental cars

We are driving from Ontario. Stopping in Quebec City, then Cape Breton for a family thing, then carry on to The Rock, somewhere in or near Gander. And whatever sights or experiences are along the way for two weeks. Maybe come home through Ottawa. Mid July should be warm there at least.

Trinity is a beautiful little town in NL worth finding your way to. Loved Brigus and Bonavista as well.

And Cape Breton is just stunning, particularly the Cabot Trail.

I will add that to the list. We can't do hiking anymore because my aunt is 74 but boat rides are good. :)
