Not that I don't want to see Chase Petty pitch, but why are they calling up a guy to start a game that was already scheduled? Did I miss news on Abbott?

Costello: Look, you gotta pitcher on this team? Abbott: Now wouldn't this be a fine team without a pitcher. Costello: The pitcher's name. Abbott: Tomorrow. Costello: You don't wanna tell me today?
If Abbott pitches today, then come May 4th they need someone else to go on either short rest, or call someone up. The doubleheader gives them the 27th man, which makes it easier to just call up Petty today and keep everyone from avoiding short rest.
From a consumer standpoint a couple of friends of mine haven't seen Hunter live so we got tickets earlier this week for Thursday's game, and hoping he's still scheduled.
