We have 2 v elderly cats - Shirley and Dolly Collins - who have both recently adopted totemic objects. Dolly has fallen in love with a glove, and sleeps curled up on it, while Shirley has decided a big orange bowl holds the meaning of life and sits in front of it all day and, potentially, all night.
