they rotate due to the phenomenon known as "differential rotation". Gas and planets and particles closest to the center rotate faster than the ones on the outside, thus: spiral!
The conditions for life are literally everywhere. Do you truly believe that we are alone and special inside of this never ending expansion of a universe.
I suppose I just don’t see the logic behind it. Space is mostly empty yes. But what you’re telling me proves you might need to do more research on what we have already found in the last 10 years. It’s important to remember that life doesn’t have to be intelligent, to be life.
Not so much the last 10 years as the last few centuries. There are no canals on Mars, no tropical forests on Venus. How specific are the conditions needed for life to emerge from molecular copying?
If you mathematically combined all the planets, stars, and life setting conditions in any one given universe, I feel as though you’d have to be a fool to deny that even life in its smallest forms does not exist throughout.
We'll know in a few years time whether the last best hope for other life in our solar system, sub-surface Europa, is a win. If not, we're still extrapolating from a sample of one, with no evidence from any other location we have assessed.
Exactly!! This comment alone proves my point. There’s a body that COULD hold life. In our solar system. Not to mention future missions to study possible ice on the southern pole of the moon. The recipe for life is literally everywhere brother. Just because we haven’t found it doesnt mean anything.
