Marching for one of the largest group of voters who actually put Trump in the White House. 65% of them voted for the guy. I thank them for their sacrifice and feel bad for the 35% who did not vote for Trump, but I am not marching to support a majority of Trumpers who literally voted against us.
Usually, I would as well. I very much respect veterans. Not this time, not when the march is to oppose the things that their majority chose to inflict on themselves and this country. I totally respect you marching for them.
the republicans claim to love vets and yet they won't stand up for those who lost their jobs the most they will do it make a few calls to the orange goblin thank you for your service
I’m going to try to go to this one. My dad was retired Army. I had a hip replacement 5 wks ago & am still doing PT. I am working on being able to walk more distance. My biggest problem is that my left hip still needs to be replaced, so it is hindering my walking. I plan on many marches soon.
Participate in your state capital on March 14th! Make a plan and show up. Saving our country from fascism is not a spectator sport. We need to remind these motherfuckers that they work for US!
I surely hope at these marches many will become registered Democrats & leave the party that ensured though they didn’t die on the battlefield, they DAMN SURE WILL DIE HERE!
The march is a response to Project 2025 and cuts that have already affected veteran services, including the Veterans’ Crisis Line, which provides vital mental health support. According to a leaked memo, the Trump administration plans to cut 83,000 jobs at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Interesting! I’m glad! I had someone say to me last night “over 60% of veterans support trump. Why are we fighting against something they aren’t?” Because some of them haven’t felt the effects yet, but others clearly have!
Do not plan on seeing anyone from the Walter F Bruce VFW Post #1146. It's a MAGAt hotbed so vile that my veteran friends on the right side of history won't go anymore. It's sad because after three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, a guy needs his comrades in arms. It's sick what's happened there!
Don't quote me, but there's an up arrow, i believe you click on that. And copy the link. Ten you can share to FB? I hope someone else can come in to verify ☺️ I'm no longer on FB
I was an Army brat. We lived in Tacoma, WA. It was my favorite state in which I lived. My brother lives in Kent, WA. I ended up in Virginia. I always say that if my husband dies first, I’m moving to Washington.
Great! But I decided to go to Richmond, VA. My new hip feels good, but my other hip still needs to be replaced and hurts a lot. I figure in Richmond, I won’t have to walk as far once I park.
I don’t see a specific event there though there is a National protest tomorrow at noon. Consider reaching out to local veterans’ organizations or checking social media platforms for any late-breaking announcements.
It went well! We had just under 200 people in Richmond, VA. That’s where I went. A cop told us she loved what we were doing. She said they aren’t allowed to be political, even off duty. A fire truck honked at us. That surprised me. I’ve worked EMS 35 years. Most of the firefighters I know are MAGA.

Unfortunately, like so many. They will only change their minds when it affects them personally, and that is coming fast.
Daughter of a Vietnam Vet wanting to go too.
I love you, and thank you all!
