[pt.2] Television and film are a collaborative process and we place way too much of their success or failures on singular creatives. DeMayo is not a good guy but that doesn't mean we have to chuck everything he's ever worked on in a skip.
It's sucks but DeMayo isn't the show. He was the showrunner and wrote many episodes but he wasn't the only writer, a lot of the narrative groundwork came from Chris Claremont's work on the X-Men comics decades prior, and writing only accounts for so much of the creative process of animated TV.
a huge part of the issue was the other workers said DeMayo was a huge bully in his ideas and acted like a dictator with no letting others get ther stuff in
