No? You can be a strong believer in climate change, and still believe that *insert technology* isn't the best solution to our climate problems. In regards to hydrogen, I believe that it has a future in some areas, but that many other are better served by direct electrification.
I don't think you find many people on here saying that we should drop the green transition to hydrogen, and just keep using diesel. What people are suggesting is that hydrogen production and supply chains are too expensive and inefficient compared to batteries in cars, busses and trains.
When it comes to buses and trains, they are absolutely saying we should keep on using diesel. And the claim that hydrogen is "too expensive" is a classic propaganda tactic of the fossil fuel industry. All green energy was "too expensive" at one point.
People are specifically demonizing hydrogen in situations where there are no alternative. Many of which think green hydrogen is impossible. These are classic signs of someone that does not believe or understand climate change.
