Once we're done whining we should do the opposite: tracks that were changed but kept their souls. But that's for later, now more whining: Kyalami.
I don't think it ever was one of the best, but I find new version bland. Without looking it up I would say it's a Tilkodrome.

Dijon-Prenois also improved immeasurably when they lengthened it in 1976
I would say Monza, I mean the version without the banked corners. It's still fast as hell, still a very engined focused track, recognizable, just adapted to this century.

The changes made to Zandvoort for F1's return in '21 are awesome.
Singapore is a better track now than in 2008.
Also: Spa-Francorchamps (before the butchering of the Bus Stop), Laguna Seca
