The bleak irony that the Brexit vote was in part triggered by regional inequality, (& yet some of these areas received EU funding) - but now Labour’s moves to promote growth - which steadfastly ignores SM access - will likely further increase that regional inequality.

I don’t think Starmer has any idea how difficult Brexit has made exporting to the EU, particularly for SMEs.

Until we have SM+CU SMEs won’t be able to contribute to “growth” by exporting more.
